Google Checkout Services

Google has finally launched its much awaited online merchant service named Google Checkout. Now users (especially those users who are very much concerned about financial security) can easily avail this payment facility provided by Google and make a secure purchasing with a click of mouse. But it’s different from conventional merchant scheme services. Unlike paypal or other payment transaction websites, Google Checkout doesn’t allow fund transfer from person to person nor does it allow the storing of funds. Through Google Checkout shopper pays an upfront payment to the merchant and in this way Google Checkout allows a secure and successful trading in the e-commerce market place.

With unique fraud protection features and other user friendly features, Google Checkout is constantly increasing its customer base. Google only deducts $0.20 and 2 percent of the total payment per online transaction. Thus it is proving to be cheaper than paypal which deducts $0.30 and 2.9 percent of total payment. Analysts believe that Google may displace paypal for online business ventures. Let’s see whether Google displays its potential in the world of merchant trading and helps reducing online fraud and merchant scams to a great extent
